Funny... When Mom makes her own birthday cake its a bit of a bummer. When almost-four-year-old gets to make his own birthday cupcakes its a great treat accompanied by the licking of the beater. Daycare cupcakes are chocolate with cream cheese frosting and topped with witch hats I made from gum paste and fondant.
The preschool cupcakes are also chocolate, but I've come to my senses and will just be buttercream and sprinkles.
