Today was our block's annual caramel apple party. Anthony was VERY excited about it. I'd say he asked every 15 minutes all day if it was time for the party. He even asked multiple times during swimming, which is usually his absolute favorite thing!He ate one apple at the party. Let me rephrase that. He ate the caramel and chocolate chips off one apple at the party. The apple was untouched.
After dinner our family split another apple three ways. This time he ate the apple wedge AND the caramel.
Today was the last open swim day of the summer. We swam opening day, so it was fitting to swim closing day, too. His teacher from the last session was guarding today and we picked up on some of the instructions to help him continue to advance. "Big arms", for example. He had a great time doggy paddling around the pool. He's really good at swimming underwater, just hasn't mastered the breathing bit.
