Fun in the Snow

We spent this weekend in Tahoe celebrating Ciaran's birthday. Skiing wasn't a hit (more on that in a later post), but Anthony just loved the snow.

Saturday afternoon we played by the cabin, sledding, snow ball "fights", and explorations in the woods. At first Anthony didn't want to wear his "glubs", but he discovered pretty quickly that snow was cold and decided that wearing his mittens was okay.

Sunday Ciaran and Sophie went skiing, but Anthony was VERY insistant that he wanted more sledding. We went to a local tubing hill and took turns on the inner-tubes and toboggans. It was a ball. My favorite part was watching Bob haul Anthony up the hill on the sled, singing away, "Ho, ho, ho and ha, ha ha and a couple of tra la las". (We're off to dance the day away in the merry old land of Oz.)
