Saturday we went out to Elkus Ranch for their annual "Sheep to Shawl" day. It was a great day and I was really impressed with their program.
Let's see... What did Anthony get to do?
Well, he got to grind corn to feed the animals. While we were waiting in line Anthony watched intently. By the time it was his turn, he knew EXACTLY what to do.
He fed horses (horse food, not corn), goats, burros, rabbits and chickens.
He made friends with a rooster. Anthony totally digs the chickens, all the small people do. I think its because they are all the same size.
He spent a LONG time pumping water
He got to water all the plants in the garden.
Bob and I really enjoyed watching him water all the plants. He figured out pretty quickly how to fill his little watering can and carry it over to the vegetable beds. Once we got him watering plants instead of dirt, we could just relax and watch him play.
